The U.S.-Mexico border at the San Ysidro Port of Entry was closed in both directions for five hours on Sunday after hundreds of migrants rushed the area. By 5 p.m., northbound and southbound freeway lanes were reopened to border traffic. Pedestrian crossings opened earlier.
