While the Chargers were in Pittsburgh last weekend, burglars struck the San Fernando Valley home of tight end Antonio Gates and his wife, Sasha.
The couple's children were inside the home at the time — but the crooks didn't come into contact with the children.
Police were still investigating the crime as of Wednesday morning.
